Simple Rule to check Font Styles used in Web or Print Design

As a rule, don't use more than three fonts in a design. For heading and body text try using fonts of different families, like for heading, Serif and for body text, Sans-serif and vice versa.  This gives nice contrast in text.

How to design vintage feel

The things which I have observed, we need to take care of while designing something with retro or vintage feel are written here. While I have tried to study this trend of design as closely as possible, if you think I should add any other point which is left, please leave it as a comment.

A theme is in very common term, the graphics, colors, typography and photographs, all these or some of the elements mixed together creatively to evoke the feeling of something particular. Like we have themes for seasons, festivals, professions, era etc etc...

Retro colors are basically less saturated variations of actual brilliant colors. In Photoshop, this can be simply done by lowering the saturation value of the colors in color selected  box.

The Difference Between Vintage and Retro

Nowadays I m thinking abt giving a retro feel to candywiz brand. Being a designer it is toughest things to stay with one design style for entire lifetime.

In this process of designing it again, i was getting confused by the words vintage and retro and I have finally managed to know the difference.

Vintage is something that is old or made recently which gives you a complete taste of the old days.
